Are you looking for the best Newborn Photographer in London?

I have a lot to say about this. Hear me out.

Who is the best Newborn Photographer in London? This is something I hear a lot in my circles.

We live in a time when people are looking for the best restaurants, builders, doctors, surgeons, you name it, and because we have the world at our fingertips, we can research online using Google, Instagram (and every other social media too!), we can ask AI to help us with research, we can ask our friends and in our community. We can continue until we think we’ve found what we've been looking for. We all do it, a little or a lot, but we all tend to do it to some degree.

I get it; we want the best, so we search and compare until we find what we want. Why wouldn't we?

But what about having a photographer that is the best for you? How do we go from finding the best photographer to finding the best photographer for your family, for your baby, and for your needs?

Is that the same as finding the best London Newborn Photographer? Is that the same as finding the best London Family Photographer

Possibly, but very possibly not.

THE BEST IS SUBJECTIVE

We all know it's pretty subjective (the best), so you and I may disagree on the best Newborn photographer because we come from different places and have different tastes in style, and so on.

And to be completely frank, in my 11 years as a Newborn and Family Photographer, I have never really considered seriously who the best photographer is. Because it's personal, it's subjective, and for me, what I love can ebb and flow; it changes. As does my style and other artists' styles.

The "best" cleaner isn't the best for me; what if we don't get along well?

What if the best Nutritionist doesn't quite understand the unique impact of ethnicity and culture on my physical and mental health? If they are the best, is it a given that they should know all of that? Maybe another practitioner would be better for me. Ultimately, if I want to work on my physical and mental well-being properly, I will find the right person for me.

That said, I'm pretty open and honest. Because truthfully, my best work comes from a place of connection, honesty and trust (both ways). I wouldn't take on any photography work where I felt the connection and vibe were not working well.

And almost all of the time, things click, and everything works. People get to read a bit about me on my website before they get in touch to get a feel for what I'm like. And I get to do the same when I speak to them by email, text and phone.

Whilst some people will choose me as their best newborn photographer in London, others will pick someone else.

And I'm not at all mad about that; I'm pleased! Everyone has someone that fits them better than another. The result will undoubtedly be better if they resonate with someone else. So I really can't be mad at all.
