Should parents be in newborn photos?

I'd love to answer this in pictures only, but for the sake of Google, I probably should say it very clearly!

Should parents be in newborn photos?

I'm here to remind you that these newborn portraits will be around forever if you and your family want them to be. You will revisit them repeatedly, as will your children in future years.

Imagine them at the age of 3, 6. 10, then teenagers going through an album or your phone to look at these images repeatedly. In adulthood, they will revisit them often and share them with their children, spouses, and grandchildren. Honestly, the love, memories and sheer momentum keep on going.

And as I'm writing this, I can feel a wave of emotion coming over me, reminding me that this is precisely why I do what I do, because I know I'm creating a history that matters.

This is another reason printing the images is always a good shout: they will be somewhere in your home, and one day they may move into your child's home. And even if they sit in a box, somewhere, they will be there to be looked at again and again.

Ultimately this is your decision, but maybe the images below will help.
