natural Newborn, Maternity & Family Photographer in London. Baby-Led, Natural and Story-Driven.
Honest, story-led photography in London filled with warmth, depth and real connection, documenting families since 2012, in your own home.
I’m Samantha. Since 2012 I’ve been photographing newborns and families across London, always in natural light, always in the places they actually live.
I’m drawn to the quiet evidence of love between people. A hand resting on a back, a look passed across a room, the way someone leans toward another person without thinking about it. That’s what I’m watching for.
My approach is baby-led and unhurried. No posing, no performing. Just the moments that are already there, the ones you’ll want to remember.
Many of the families I work with find me after searching for something different, a way of being photographed that doesn’t feel staged. Some come back years later, wanting that same honesty as their family grows.
The photographs should feel like memory. Not generic, not perfect. The little gestures, the in-between moments. Held onto.
Every session moves at your pace. No awkward poses, no pressure. Just you, and whatever the day brings.
“These photographs will mean more with time, not because they’re perfect, but because they’re true.”
how i work
Because this isn’t just about getting good photos, it’s about being seen.
After 14 years photographing families across London, I’ve learned how to hold space for the tenderness and the chaos, the real stuff that makes your family yours. I don’t rush you. I don’t ask you to perform. I just pay attention.
My work follows your story as it unfolds. You don’t need to do anything but show up. I’ll take care of the rest, the light, the feeling, the moments you’d otherwise miss.
One day these photographs will bring you back. To how it felt. To who you were.
Many families return year after year, and being trusted with someone’s story more than once is one of my favourite parts of this work.
London newborn, baby and family sessions that are baby-led, creative, and rooted in emotional connection, reflecting the warmth and authenticity of your family’s story.
“You don’t need to feel ready, you just need to show up. I’ll meet you where you are”
Prints & albums
We take photos to remember, not just how it looked, but how it felt.
But memories aren’t meant to live in folders or disappear in the cloud.
There’s something powerful about holding a photograph.
A print invites you to pause. An album becomes a book of love, part of your family’s story.
The photos we return to are the ones we can touch.
Passed down, held close, full of meaning.
