WHAT IS NATURAL NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY?

This Newborn session is for warm-hearted souls who love the idea of a less traditional approach to newborn photography.

I’m Samantha, a London Newborn Photographer. I’ve worked with Newborns and Families for over 12 years now. My goal in these sessions is to capture your family in an emotion-filled way that tells your story of love and connection. I'll want to capture your intimate connections and those fleeting, somewhat ordinary moments in your home.

These sessions have a natural look and feel. They are filled with light, love and lots of soul!

I can capture you, your baby and the elements of your home beautifully, no matter how small or large your home.

WHY I MADE THE SWITCH FROM A 100% POSED NEWBORN SESSION

I decided to become a Newborn photographer around 12 years ago. So I worked hard to create an image and style I liked. A less is more approach. You can see some of my older work here. Most of these babies were under 10 days old.

After almost 8 years of doing this type of work, I needed to follow my creative pull to opt for a more natural look and feel. I wanted to inject even more emotion, personality and warmth. And now I only take on lifestyle work.

As a Natural Newborn Lifestyle Photographer. I mainly work in and around London and Hertfordshire. Occasionally, I travel outside the UK for families or couples too. There is more flexibility in terms of the age of the baby, and, I can travel further afield, and I’m doing what I love.

I’ve found truth, meaning and intuition to be my compass in life. So, that probably explains why I photograph people and moments that mean something to them.

My creative expression comes from a very special place, it’s 100% feeling and intuition-led. I honestly find it hard to put it into words but it’s definitely the result of a combination of emotion, imagination and skill on my part.

I’ve worked hard over many years to create my Newborn art in an aesthetically pleasing way. It’s a bonus that many of my clients feel the same way, too, and I’m truly thankful for that.
