Saying No

“We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty.”

-Maya Angelou

Matt Haig recently wrote a post on Instagram about saying no. Here it is: https://www.instagram.com/p/CDAJhccscmA/

No, sometimes has the power to give me life, sanity and peace when otherwise I just can’t deal.

And there’s no shame in it.

Let’s be real, though, guilt and other things can come into play. But maybe that means we just have to practise it more, and learn how to say it better, and in the right way.

Saying no is saying yes to you sometimes. And yes we can do this from a good place
