Outdoor Maternity Photography in Enfield and Barnet, Where You Live, How You Feel

Some of my favourite maternity sessions don’t happen indoors.

They happen where the light is softer, the air is cooler, and there’s enough space to just breathe. In a park at the edge of the city, with the trees doing something beautiful in the background and a woman standing in the middle of it all, looking exactly like herself.

That’s what I’m chasing. And it’s why I love shooting maternity sessions outdoors, in our beautiful parks, or in the quieter green spaces across Enfield and Barnet that most people walk past without a second thought.

Shakira came to me with that kind of energy you can’t manufacture. Earthy, comfortable in her skin, completely herself. We shot outside, and the location just made sense for who she is. There’s something about being in nature when you’re growing a life that feels right. Like the two things belong together.

Fiona’s session in Haringey was a mix of both. We started inside, in a half-renovated Victorian terrace with raw plaster walls and the most beautiful window light, and then we went outside. She wore something close to what she’d reach for on any given day, and we just followed the afternoon.

That’s how I like to work. Whether we stay indoors, head outside, or do a bit of both, we follow what feels true to you.

If you’re between 28 and 32 weeks and you’re drawn to something a little more cinematic, a little more you, I’d love to talk. That tends to be the sweet spot for outdoor sessions, when your bump is beautifully full, and you’re still moving freely and comfortably. That said, every pregnancy is different, so if you’re further along and feeling good, get in touch anyway, and we’ll work around you.

You don’t need to know exactly what you want yet. Just bring yourself, and we’ll work the rest out together.

It never has to feel like just a photoshoot. Just you, some good light, and a couple of hours that are entirely yours
